“…We will be able to look back on this scary time in our Earth’s history and say: We stood up, combined blockchain and digital technologies, and fought back against COVID-19.” — Brian Hough: New Blockchain App Tracks COVID-19 Symptoms to reduce Hospital Overload

From The Desk of Steven Vilkas, Block Relations Co-Founder and Director of Intelligence:

I still remember that sunny Saturday morning at Babson College here in Massachusetts. The feeling of happy anticipation filling the air around us. There was also a sense of adventure — of something new on the horizon, and while I covered so much of that unforgettable experience already…Brian recently stated something that really reminded me of when we first met:

“I hadn’t ever thought about the tech stack before that pitch competition, and now I use it in every presentation I’m a part of, because it’s visually showing people how the tech is built — gives them a window into tech accessibility. “

Brian is many things. He’s inventive, he’s insightful, he’s dedicated and motivated. Excelling in several fields, he can build but also explain things on a high-level. For that reason it gives me great pleasure to announce that he will be playing an instrumental role in the success of Block Relations for years to come.

What we’re quite excited about is his contribution to our newsletter series, where his new segment — BlogBit will explore Brian’s unique perspective on blockchain technology, best practices and beyond. It’s a glimpse into this young man’s mindful process.

Brian will also be serving in an integral role within BR’s Business Intelligence Bureau, where we’ll be furnishing everything from long-form analyses to conducting thorough research studies within the industry. Stay tuned for further updates…
